The first PSPC in The Bahamas in January 2019 was a huge success. Over 1,000 players competed, and 181 players shared a total prize pool of over $26M!

PokerStars Players NL Hold’em Championship Platinum Pass Terms & Conditions

The following PokerStars Players NL Hold’em Championship Platinum Pass Offer Terms & Conditions (“Platinum Pass Conditions“) together with the general Terms & Conditions (“General Terms”) (collectively, the “Agreement“) shall apply to this offer and allocation of any Platinum Pass (“Platinum Pass”). The Platinum Pass may only be used at the PokerStars Players NL Hold’em Championship 2020 (the “Championship”).

1. Offer Details

1.1 Each Platinum Pass will be awarded via different channels. These could take place online, at live events, through social media channels, or alternative promotional means that we choose to conduct.

2. Platinum Pass Details

2.1 Subject to Clause 2.2 below, the winner of a Platinum Pass will be entitled to the following package:

• €22,500 buy-in to the Championship which takes place from August 20-24, 2020 at Casino Barcelona.
• Six nights’ standard accommodation (for two persons) at a five-star hotel in Barcelona (August 19 to August 25)
• Airport transfers to and from Barcelona airport.

Furthermore, please note that you will also be entitled to receive €1,250 in travel expenses if you have arranged and paid for your travel to Barcelona without the assistance of our travel partner; or where you have used our travel partner to arrange your travel to Barcelona, you will receive the difference between the actual travel cost and the amount of €1,250.

Any amounts due to you under Clause 2.1 will be paid upon your arrival at the Championship.

2.2 It is a condition of this Offer that:

• any winner of a Platinum Pass must be present at the Championship to receive all elements of the prize.
• Platinum Pass winners must submit written confirmation of their intention to attend the Championship tournament via email to the Registrations Team. The date for confirmation will depend on the date you are awarded your Platinum Pass and shall be as follows:
• (aa) Those who win a Platinum Pass between August 27, 2022 and April 1, 2022 - confirmation is to be received no later than May 1, 2020.
• (bb) Those who win a Platinum Pass between April 2, 2022 and June 1, 2022 - confirmation is to be received no later than July 1, 2020.
• (cc) Any Platinum Pass awarded after June 1, 2022 will be given specific confirmation dates at that time.

3. Restrictions

3.1 An individual shall not be entitled to receive more than one Platinum Pass under any circumstances and the following rules shall apply.

3.1.1 If a player wins a second Platinum Pass, it will be forfeited immediately upon discovery, and the player will not receive any compensation. An additional Platinum Pass awarded to a player already in receipt of one will be allocated to another player at our sole determination.

3.2 All employees of The Stars Group and their immediate family members are ineligible to take part in this Offer.

3.3 Any player in receipt of a Platinum Pass, who is barred from PokerStars or from participating in PSLive sponsored events as of August 19, 2020, will forfeit their Platinum Pass and shall not be entitled to any compensation.

4. Offer Requirements

4.1 All Platinum Pass winners will be required to complete a registration and consent form at the time of their selection to participate in the Championship. Failure to do so will disqualify you from the Offer.

4.2 For the avoidance of doubt, the Platinum Pass and all elements of the prize on offer is non-refundable and non-transferable in any way. If a Platinum Pass winner does not confirm attendance by the specific date prescribed above, or is unable to attend the Championship for any reason, they will forfeit the Platinum Pass and will receive no compensation. We reserve the right to award or distribute any unused or forfeited Platinum Pass at our sole discretion.

4.3 Travel arrangements (including obtaining any applicable visas) together with the cost of getting to Barcelona, Spain for the required dates set out in Clause 2 above, shall be the sole responsibility of the Platinum Pass winner. Failure to secure proper documentation and authorisation for travel to the Championship will result in the forfeiture of your Platinum Pass.

4.4 Please note that further Terms & Conditions may apply to each element of the prize on offer.

4.5 Hotel accommodation dates cannot be amended or varied without incurring costs which shall be at the sole expense of the Platinum Pass winner.

4.6 Winners are responsible for payment of any taxes, licenses, registrations and other fees associated with the Platinum Pass.

4.7 We reserve the sole right to alter or amend any part of this Offer where there are circumstances which prevent the Championship from taking place as scheduled.
